Finding Your Lighting Direction: A Guide to AuranHome Collections

Sculptural lighting with an open branching outline

AuranHome Journal · Collection Guide

A collection is a useful place to begin when you know what the room needs. Start with the role of the light, then narrow the shape, material and size.

You may want a clear center above the dining table, a softer layer beside the bed or an open form that preserves the view through a tall room. Those are different briefs, even when the same finish appears in each space.

For layered glass and visible texture

Ghiaccio glass lighting uses repeated curved elements to build depth. Round and oval forms provide different relationships with the furniture below.

Compare clear and darker glass in the context of the room's daylight and wall color. Our Ghiaccio selection guide takes the comparison further.

For a defined central shape

A ring, a compact cluster and a branching chandelier create very different outlines. In a room with substantial timber or stone, an open form may preserve more of the architecture around it.

A branching chandelier gives a seating area a center while leaving space visible between the individual elements.

Browse chandeliers with the table or seating plan beside you. Body height is as useful a comparison as diameter.

For stone and a softer material presence

Alabaster lighting brings natural veining into the composition. Compare the unlit surface and the illuminated shade, since thickness and the light source affect the result.

A close-up makes the pattern and edge of a stone shade easier to assess.

For a second layer around the room

Wall sconces can frame a mirror, give a hallway rhythm or bring light closer to a bedside. Check projection and mounting position alongside the front view.

For an island or a smaller focal point, explore pendants. Quantity and spacing should be drawn together rather than decided separately.

Bring the shortlist into focus

For each piece, record the body dimensions, complete hanging height, finish, light source and installation requirements. Availability and configuration choices vary by model, so use the selected product page as the starting point for confirmation.

If several rooms need to relate, send an overall plan through our Trade Program. For an individual room or selected custom option, use the project inquiry form with dimensions, a photograph and your installation date.
