AuranHome Journal · Buying Guide
A lighting order is easier to plan when the product specification, delivery scope and installation requirements are clear. Keep those details together, especially when a project has a fixed installation date.
This guide outlines the main stages. The selected product information, applicable policies and any written order-specific agreement remain the references for your purchase.

Confirm the selected configuration
Keep a record of the model, quantity, dimensions, finish, glass or shade choice and suspension requirements. If a non-standard option has been discussed, make sure it appears in the approved specification.
For a larger project, include the relevant drawings and control-system details before production or fulfillment. Samples or additional references may be available for selected requirements; confirm availability for the order.

Distinguish production time from transit
In-stock, made-to-order and customized pieces can follow different schedules. Processing or production is separate from the time in transit.
Share the delivery ZIP code and required installation date before ordering. Ask for the current estimated schedule for the specific product rather than planning around a general collection description. See the shipping policy for the published delivery framework.
Check what the delivery service includes
Oversized lighting may arrive in several packages or by freight. Standard freight delivery does not automatically include carrying the fixture inside, unpacking, assembly or installation.
Confirm access restrictions, stairs, elevator arrangements and any special handling in advance. Keep tracking and delivery communications with the order record.

Inspect before assembly and installation
Retain the packaging and document any visible damage, missing components or difference from the approved specification. Contact AuranHome before modifying, repairing or returning the item so the issue can be reviewed.
Give the exact installation information to a qualified installer. Weight, support, canopy, voltage and controls need to suit the chosen model and site.
Understand standard and custom return terms
Eligible standard products can be returned within 30 days of confirmed delivery, subject to the return policy, including condition, packaging, authorization, shipping and any applicable fees.
Selecting standard product-page options on a made-to-order piece does not by itself make it a custom product. Customer-specific custom products have different preference-return terms. Assistance remains available for a verified damage, defect, incorrect item or material deviation from approved specifications under the applicable policy.
Keep the warranty information
AuranHome publishes a two-year limited warranty for standard purchases and a five-year limited warranty for qualifying approved Trade Program orders. Coverage, exclusions and available remedies are set out in the Limited Warranty Policy.
